Fermenting is not something new but is an ancient art of preserving food and further increasing its nutritional value, especially, throughout the Winter months when there is a lack of light making us more susceptible to viruses, infections, colds, flus and all sorts of immune diseases.

 

This is a tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation, yet has been lost and forgotten in Western traditions.

 

Poor diet and the stress- and pollution-filled environment provide significant challenges to healthy digestion, strong immunity and overall good health. Processed foods tend to upset the balance of bacteria needed to support intestinal strength.  History tells us about the ways different cultures promoted their intestinal health before modern times with fermented foods being part of nearly every traditional culture.


The term probiotics comes from the Greek “for life”. When probiotics are ingested, these living microorganisms replenish the microflora in your intestinal tract. This results in the promotion of a number of health-enhancing functions, including enhanced digestive function.

OUR STORY

We are passionate about health, well-being & nutrition and together have a combined experience of more than 30 years.


We are not scientists or doctors, although the changes that we have experienced in our own health and that of our clients has been astounding. International scientific and clinical studies back up our personal experience with more and more scientists highlighting the vital importance of gut health, not just for physical but emotional health as well. 


Both of us are teachers and so our aim with these classes is to inspire people of all ages to get creative and realise that they hold their physical, mental and emotional health in their own hands and with time, patience and some adjustments, anything is possible...
